Hey out there. Trying to see what experience anyone has with Vacuum pump kits. I know they are worth some power without any other modifications and it helps keep the oil vapors under control. Right now i just have 2 breathers on my valve covers and with baffling they still drip a little. I think it is time for one but they are $$. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

we run a Moroso on the Austin. when we're warming up the car, you can see the vapor coming out of the catch can filter. works great though. pulls all the water and meth vapor out. oil still looks new after a weekend of racing. me, on the other hand, im a cheap ass Oldsmobile guy. i put a Powerstroke vacuum pump on mine and used it for PCV. that works very well too. couldnt tell you how much hp these add. i just like the clean oil and no leaks. _________________

I think the Moroso is not quite a complete kit?
Yeah the clean thing is nice breathers dripping on the headers isn't. They do add power from what I have read. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

I have the aerospace kit on my Falcon it works great I bought it remanufactured from Aero space as a kit for 600 looked brand new. I saw a small gain in power bit I had very low leak down percentages.

Yeah I was looking at one of those rebuilt kits looks like the best deal out there but is it as good as the DZ motorsports pump? The power gains can be like 15-30hp depending on the application and ring package you run. Does pump keep the oil cleaner in the Falcon like 10sec said it does in the Austin? _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

Yes it definitely keeps the oil cleaner we run E85 and it helps keep the oil moisture free.
