Well I was expecting to find a former front wheel drive K-car turned into a rear wheel drive supercharged Viper V12 gasser, but it looks like a real car.

Never heard anything about it prior to this post.

I know. That's damn impressive. I've never come close to that 60' time in anything I've owned.

I grabbed the 60' time off the timeslip they show in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vD6A6NxySQ The timeslip shows up about 3:18 into the video.

I saw that about the A/C but I thought it was for heat soak between runs, not using the A/C to cool the intercooler under power.

Not sure on the race weight but they say it's almost 300lbs lighter than the Hellcat which is HEAVY, approximately 4,500 lbs. So guessing around 4,400 lbs with driver.

I'm not a Mopar guy but if I had the money I'd buy one.

I have heard so much about this car now it is old news. My cousin is Chrysler freak. He has a 2012 300 SRT and a 2014 Durango SRT along with a couple of friends having Hell Cats. The Demon is a beast no doubt about it with some clever engineering firsts for a production car. Its even in the Guinness book of world records for the longest wheelie for a production car just over 2ft. Laughing
Here is a review of the Demon that covers quite a bit about the car.

A friend of mine just bought a hellcat, its pretty impressive, but the traction sucks with all the power.
Its amazing that they are producing the Demon in this day and age, but pretty cool though.
