Haven't been around for a while, hope everybody is doing well, and are ready for winter. I have a few things to finish up like getting rid of a big scrap metal pile so I don't have to plow snow around it next to my shop.
I also am finishing up a 24x50 addition on to the shop that I have had a hard time getting to because work has been so busy, and will get finished in the next few days (at least the exterior) before the snow flies.
The weather has been holding out so far though, no snow yet!!!! |

Converting the HP EFI to CNP. Already purchased the crank trigger, cam sensor and oil plug drive. Now I just have to hit the bone yard for some LS2 truck coils and sub harnesses. This will allow me to go with sequential injection instead of batch fire. Idle control should be a lot more efficient as well as timing being rock solid. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

Hi Knarley,
Cool. A 70 was my first choice but this one was priced right $425 back in 1985 and I couldn't pass it up.

Wow you have had that baby for a long time. Thats cool. I couldn't pass the 70 it is a 396 4 speed car with a build sheet, tach and gauge dash, bucket seat console, and has the cowl hood with the flapper. Super dry rust free car to start out with, and the body has already been off the frame so that part of it is already done. |

Nice! Stick car. Should be fun. Sounds like a real good starting point. I'm jealous my car did see winters in the 15 years prior so it did have some rot to fix. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

So this post was for last winter being on its way. Now 2017's winter is approaching. What does everyone have going on besides life in general? All I plan on doing is making a good pass next spring with the wiring changes I made once I found the EMI interference culprits on the Chevelle. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

Florida doesn't have a winter where I live just a difference in humidity and average rain fall per month. This is getting near testing time for Pro Stockers so those who are snowed in drive south to Bradenton Motorsport Park or Moroso Speedway in Palm Beach.

84 degrees right now, low tonight 65, with the humidity tolerable at 56%

Hi Dave,
Yeah I have a high school friend that lives down that way with an 8 second Duster. He says the track closes only for Christmas and New Years basically open all year round for the most part. Storms obviously had an affect on them recently with lights being knocked down but that is about it. He says there are usually 40 cars that show up for the 8 second gamblers race. Lot of fast cars for local stuff like that.

I have 2 more races to go to on schedule then I will shut it down until January. I raced down in Bradenton a couple weeks ago. We had a DA of negative 260ft this past Saturday and the Falcon was flying.
