I Need to lower frt. & rear Appx. 3" , 88 Monte Carlo, weighs Frt. 1828, rear 1265. It has the stock springs in it now, sets way to high
Anybody have any Idea's, I thought about cutting the rears but they have the eyelet @ both ends

Buy a dropped spindle kit instead of cutting the springs to retain your suspension travel and front suspension geometry. You can order lowering springs for the rear which will retain the stock spring rate in a shorter package (which is hard on the stock length shocks).
