i have a camaro that handles great
how are drag radials for a well handling 530 hp 5 speed 3500 lb car
any suggestions ?
cause my 1-2-3 gears all suck+no traction when i wana get up and go Embarassed

For a stick car, I'd go with soft sidewall ET Drag tires.. Drag Radials are too stiff and break loose easier with a stick car. Soft sidewall slicks will absorb some of the shock from a manual transmission.. It's very difficult to make Drag Radials or stiff sidewall slicks hook with manual transmissions..

nothing extra ordinary Rolling Eyes 1991 camaro 406 t5 trans and 373 rear gears

koni adjustables all around
boxed rear control arms
frame ties
strut tower brace
stiffer springs
fe2 sway bars (36 mm front and 30 mm rear)
polly front and rear (bushings tierods etc)

I've known guys to autocross on drag radials. Up the air pressure. For a real good street/track tire look at the Nitto 555R2 xtremes. They use the Nitto drag radial compound on a performance tire carcass. You should be able to get ~10,000 miles out of them on the street.
