I have a 1985 Chevrolet Scottsdale pickup, new Chevy 350 crate motor, and a Turbo 350 transmission. I have a 700R4 that I would like to install, but do not know if I need anything else. I've been told about a lockup switch. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I use to have a write up on the swap from turbo 350 to 700r4 but I haven't got around to re-posting it, sorry Sad . For the most part the swap is pretty straight forward, slide the crossmember back approx 3", drill new holes in the sub frame for it (re-use existing crossmember).. Have the drive shaft shortened. If your using the lockup then you need to wire the 4 pin connector on the transmission. I have a diagram for that somewhere, let me try to dig it up. (Maybe I'll just post the swap details page again.)
