well boys about 2 months ago i bought a 76 corvette for a restomod shop project and my partner took an interest in it and got the corvette bug! ive seen this disease before and i knew what was going to happen. i am now the proud papa of 6 c3 corvetts and my shop is busting at the seams. 70 / 71/76/77/79 and an 81. im selling the 81 next week to build the 70 model and as soon as the 79 is finished it will sell to build the 71. these cars are kinda fun to work on and not really all that expensive to build and im going to have a lot of fun building the motor for the 70. ill get some pics posted tomorrow. _________________ If your not doing something stupid than nobody cares!!! |

The front end was hit so we got it for a song. My sons took the front clip off, and I showed them how to do the glass work. They actually did a really good job, and I cant believe how good it turned out. The old engine out of the 69 is going into the 70, and then we will reinstall the clip. It is going to need tires, and brake calipers, and a matte black primer job. I drove it around the block with my 16 year old with no clip, and absolutely no brakes on the old engine. My son says hey dad can we stop?, and I say no, but lets see if we can do a burn out in the driveway. He says after the burn out laughing " you are an idiot" I said I know, you want me to teach you how to drive a stick? He started laughing, and said YES. |
