I was thinking to pop it back out with a dolly and then welding it. My best guess is that they broke a motor mount and it slammed the trans tunnel. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

Case is at the welder. It will be tig welded along with another sun gear for the trans. Will be ready Wednesday. _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

Trans case is swapped. Here is a shot of the case saver installed with blue loctite on the bolts. It said max 12ft/lbs. The allen key twists at 100 in/lbs so that was it for me.
Sadly the case I cracked was mint. Look at the lugs in the case like new damn.
