could someone tell me how to adjust slide-a-links do i keep adding preload to the 60 foot get better this is on a 72 nova. |

Not sure on the Slide-a-links. On the Cal-tracs you can vary the hit on the tire slightly be how much preload you put on the bar. There is much more adjustment on the Cal-trac by moving the link between the upper and lower mounting holes in the front plates. Slide-a-links don't have that. The only other thing preload does on a Caltrac is if the car is pulling one way or the other you increase preload on the side it is pulling to. Usually it amounts to adding a bit more to the passenger side. However with the polyurethane bushing in the Slide-a-link setup I don't know how much slight preload adjustments will directly affect how the car reacts - I'm thinking it just gets lost in bushing compression. I know you don't have Caltracs but it's the only information I can offer and I hope you can get something out of it to apply to your setup.
