Great post because I learned something I might use one day. Good way to hold the caliper / mount in place while you are welding - it's pretty much guaranteed to be in the right place. Clay

if i had just measured without using the air like i did, i would have been screwed. there was about 3/16 difference in the way the two brackets are made Shocked .

well, im about 95% finished with the reardiff/suspension. its all in the car but i still have a couple places that need a bit more welding. sorry about the big pics, my photo software has gone weird again.







this is a close-up of the panhard bar bracket. it went through a lot of design changes to make it functional.





with the car sitting on the ground its obvious that im going to have to lower the front. hard to believe that the back was actually higher than the front before.




now all i have to do is put the sheet metal back, mount the fuel cel, run the fuel and brake lines, and install the rack... Rolling Eyes im gonna need a LOT more BEER Laughing
