FATNFAST -> The Seats I stole off Ebay for a mere $200.00! They are leather, with the teal inserts that match my paint. The side air bags had been removed. All power and works great! |

af2 -> I have not run this converter but it is new. The only problem I see is the snout will not go into the crank. I will make an adapter that will hook it to the crank. |

disturbthepeace1 -> So now that the motor is broken in I thought it was time to start making some boost. Installation was easy but I had to change inlet/outlets to -4 fittings instead of the hose nipples that came with it.. Also I double checked the timing and steped up to some larger venturi's. Now boost went from 7psi way up to 16psi(I'll crank it up to 25psi when i feel the need for more power). The power diffence is increadible.. The motor pulls harder and harder the more gears you hand it..... Im plannig to take it to california speedway at the begining of the month hoping to get a low 12s w/out slicks, we'll see......... |
disturbthepeace1 -> Track rules requier a muffler and I cant consider my previous turbo dump any kind of muffler. I bought all the alumininized bends I needed along with a dynomax bullet muffler and a 2 1/2 collector set and started hacking away at the pipe. |
disturbthepeace1 -> This is how the down pipe and muffler looked after tacking it all up. Its a real tight fit but i cant be happier about how well it does fit. They will get tiged up hopfully tomorrow. |

SMOKEmUP -> I bought a used lid which was made by Texas Speed. The lid cracked while trying to install and was hard to get the intake bellow to line up. Also the lid has no provision for the AIR smog equipment and therefore I had to buy a mini air filter for the hose. IMO I wouldn't get another one. Instead I will probably by an SLP blackwing. They look like it fits much better. |
SMOKEmUP -> The converter gained a solid half a second on the ET. The drivability is still very good. Best 60' is 1.803 from the converter compared to a previous best of 2.029. The converter is a good choice for a daily driven car. With more stall it will ET better at the expense of drivability. |

SMOKEmUP -> This is the Hooker cat back exhaust for the 1998 - 2002 F-body LS1. The kit has a 3" pipe off the Y to a single muffler which has dual 2.5" outlets. The kit also has two dual chrome tips which I didn't put on because I didn't like the looks.
The install went pretty smooth. The only thing is the passenger side tail pipe hits the body if I adjust it where it should be. I need to take about a 1/2" off where it slides into the muffler to give me the clearance needed to make the tailpipe line up correctly. |
